In 1906, three Germans founded the brand Montblanc. Their idea was to introduce an innovative fountain pen to the market: a pen with its own ink reservoir. Eighteen years later, in 1924, the brand achieved worldwide fame with the production of the “Montblanc Meisterstück” pen. The company remained true to its original core business until 1997, when Montblanc began producing luxury watches. The Montblanc Montre S.A. division is relatively young, but in a short period of time it has secured a strong position at the top of the watchmaking industry. Today, Montblanc watches are produced in two locations in Switzerland: Le Locle and Villeret. In Le Locle, more than 20,000 watches are handcrafted each year, while the timepieces from Villeret are limited to just a few hundred pieces annually. The movements in these exceptional watches require craftsmanship of an extraordinarily high level, resulting in a much lower production capacity than in Le Locle.

In addition to watches, pens, leather goods, and jewelry, Montblanc offers a wide range of luxury accessories for both men and women.
